Have a lot of stuff going on, will bring you all up to speed soon. In the mean time, here’s a scary article about how hospitals are demanding up front payments for critical patients without enough health care coverage.

So I had a fun assignment at work today. I was researching functionality for online avatar creation software. I decided as part of the exercize that I would try and make myself. I’m standing in line to pay, thinking about what I need to do for the rest of the afternoon and how I need a strategy to stay awake. Keep in mind that I’m in mid-stoop at this point and I’m scrambling to decide which would be more uncomfortable, picking up said pad and handing it to her or reversing course and standing back up nervously.

I opted for the latter. To her credit, she tried her best to avoid all eye contact as she reached down to scoop up her goods, but I could tell she was turning a tad red.

And so it begins…
