Note to parents

When your 2 year old says “Somebody pooped” and her diaper is clean, it is advisable to wait at least 15 minutes before putting her in the bathtub with her older sister.
Behold, the power of the interwebs!

So I meant to write about this a few days ago, but it’s been nuts here at the Evans compound. On Wednesday, I had my first real taste of the results (fruits? consequences?) of having people actually read the things one posts in cyberspace. First, I had tweeted comments on the Pharma Marketing News blog in response to Johnny Mac’s idea that somehow Pfizer changed their ad campaign because of him. I like JM and met him once, but he tends to amp up the hyperbole from time to time. I felt compelled to set the record straight, at least a little bit. My posts were quoted and he wrote a follow up about it. You can read it here. What’s funny is he copied and pasted my typo too.
Shortly after that I tweeted my Twitter followers asking if anyone had a Manhattan Research account, as there was a piece of data I desperately needed and didn’t want or need to pay for the whole study. Much to my surprise, a few hours later Manhattan Research emailed me. A few phone calls later they provided me with the information I so badly needed. I didn’t think they were followers, so someone passed along my request. It was very helpful and awfully nice of them to respond.
Way to go internet!
